Hi Scent Grail Tribe! It’s almost the end of the year and we have approached the holiday season. Hope that you are doing well and that you are spending quality time with your loved ones.

In this new December monthly news 2020 article, I’ll update you about a couple of things. Firstly, thank you for all of your support and kind words during this first year of the Scent Grail website project.

I’m immensely thankful for everything. While the website is still new, the idea of providing quality information around signature perfume content has already started to catch on.

Now, let’s start the news.

My most worn scent during November and December was Montblanc Individuel. Since I was a part of the fragrance community back in 2015, I knew about Individuel back then but was cautious about the hype.

Unfortunately, I was right. In its purest form, Individuel is a lighter version of Joop Homme without that plastic harshness.

In my opinion, it is a good value for money but nothing else, and if you believe that you are getting Creed’s Original Santal for 25 USD, you aren’t.

For that money, I would rather go for Joop Homme which has a much better drydown than Individuel, if you can wait until plastic harshness ends.

The last two months have been crazy, and I gathered and swapped a couple of perfumes. While I cannot promise that each and every one of these perfumes will get reviewed, here’s what’s new:

  • Chanel No. 5
  • Tom Ford Black Orchid
  • Tauer Perfumes 02 L’Air du Desert Marocain
  • Azzaro Visit
  • Bvlgari Man in Black
  • Ferragamo Uomo
  • Acqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta
  • Montblanc Individuel

At this time, there are two major projects which I’m preparing for the next year. Since they are both in the early stages, you will be properly updated as they get prepared for release.

Content schedule will remain unaffected, and you’ll continue to get quality articles every 5 days.

I have sampled the new Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Le Parfum that I’ve mentioned in my last news update, and my initial thoughts are meh. Nothing special.

Full bottles of the fragrances that I would like to acquire in the next couple of months are Dior’s Sauvage Eau de Parfum, Dior Homme Intense, and Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille.

If you would like something to get reviewed or find a way how you can send me a bottle of fragrance for a review, you can do that via the contact form here.

That would be all for this wild year’s news, and you can expect more starting from January 2021. Please keep in mind that the news category is completely freestyle content and sometimes I might skip a month, while other times you may get multiple news articles during the same month.

I wish you to have happy holidays and a happy New Year! May all of your wishes come true!

Best, Marin!
